The kiosk aimed to recreate this experience. A space was created that forces the visitor to take a step into uncertainty and experience the point of no return where reality distorts and time stands still. We sought to create a space that captures these complex emotions - the excitement, the nerves, and the doubt.
To achieve this, we designed an elevated circular structure composed of five intertwined rings. A curtain of water falls from each ring, creating a division that every visitor must cross as the first step into uncertainty. Once the threshold has been crossed, visitors find themselves in a sensory space completely different from the previous one. The water creates a filter that alters perception and changes the interior atmosphere of the place, while simultaneously projecting images of the Olympic Games on its surface.
